Rooms
and Rates
The Dauphine Hotel offers a total
of 7 guest rooms, each with private bath. All rooms are on the second
floor and have access to the upper porch, either directly or through
the hallway. The rooms are furnished with antique dressers and iron
beds, most of which are original to the hotel, and each room is
uniquely decorated with old-fashioned wallpapers and hand-made quilts
and afghans. With a total of 7 rooms we can accommodate up to 14
people, making the Dauphine an ideal place to host a group event.

Alex and Adelaide's
Room - ($139)
This secluded room features a queen-size
bed and a two-person ThermoMasseur®
Tub, making it the perfect room for a romantic getaway or
a weekend of pampering yourself. Scented oils and bathrobes are
provided. It also features a small, private deck overlooking the
kitchen garden.
(for those wanting a shower
there is a hand-held wand on the tub)

Verdot were owners of the hotel from 1890 until their deaths in
the 1920's. |

Annie's
Lavender Room - ($109)
This
spacious room features a queen-size bed and a sitting area with
a pair of antique oak rockers. The room opens directly onto the
upper porch where you can watch the sunset over the river from the
comfort of hand-made Adirondack chairs. This room has a private
bathroom with walk-in shower.

The Riverboat Rose Room - ($109)
This large room features an ornate, queen-size bed, a corner
rocker with reading lamp and a private bath with both shower and
tub. The window looks out over the rustic out-buildings toward
the Osage River.
The town of
Bonnots Mill was once an overnight stopping point for riverboats
heading up the Missouri River from Saint Louis.

The Lewis & Clark Room - ($109)
This large room features a pair of twin
beds which can also be made up as a king-size bed upon request.
There is also an oak rocking chair with reading lamp. The large
bathroom features an antique claw-foot tub with shower attachment.
The bathroom is private but is located directly across the hall
- bathrobes provided.
Lewis & Clark camped for
several days at the mouth of the Osage River nearby.

Louise's Little Brick Room
- ($89)
This room is located in the
brick addition to the Dauphine, believed to be the most recent addition.
It features a standard double bed and a
private bathroom with walk-in shower. The
quilt, afghan and lampshade in this room were all hand-made by your
host Sandra. the window overlooks the side yard and flower garden.
Louise
Verdot used this as her bedroom for many years.

Lizzie's Secret Hideaway
- ($89)
This secluded room on the southeast corner
of the hotel is only accessible from the upper porch. It features
a standard double bed and a private bathroom with walk-in shower.
The window overlooks the side yard and flower garden.

This centrally located room features a standard
double bed. The large bathroom features an
antique claw-foot tub with shower attachment. The bathroom is private
but is located directly across the hall - bathrobes are provided.
The window looks out over the rustic out-buildings toward the Osage
River.
This
room is named in honor of the members of the Osage Nation who called
this area home when the French settlers first arrived and for whom
the Osage River is named.
