Located at the confluence of the Osage and Missouri Rivers, the Dauphine is an ideal base for a few days of boating or fishing. There are also several scenic hiking trails within a 15 minute drive. Conservation areas nearby are a bird-watchers paradise!

Wine and Food

Perhaps you'd rather relax and enjoy a beautiful Missouri afternoon with a glass of local wine and some regional cuisine. You're in luck - there are a number of excellent wineries within a 30 mile radius of Bonnots Mill, all of which serve excellent food to go along with the wine and the views. There is a brewpub and a number of excellent restaurants in the area as well.

History and Culture

From Lewis and Clark to the immigrants who followed in their footsteps - this area has a rich history and a strong cultural heritage. Bonnots Mill is a National Historic District and there are several historic sites between here and the state capitol, just 20 miles away. Jefferson City also offers several museums, numerous boutiques and an excellent spa. For a first hand taste of the local rural life, look for a church picnic, a parish supper or other town festival - there is one in the area almost every weekend.
